Hope blooms

Hope Blooms.... is a piece i have painted for the cancer society in Trinidad .... i find that the love of nature i can see in it hope,,,, and hope is an important facet for todays world and all people must face day to day , i know that this world rarely offers hope just like that ...when it does its the birth of a child, the promises made by a young couple at the altar, its the flowering of a tree in the dry, arid times of a country, Hope lives no matter what we may think ,we but need to see with our inner eyes only ,,, this piece is a watercolour

THE VIEW

The View ... this was a piece i had painted in 2007 ...a watercolour that was roughly 22x25 inches ... it was done for an exhibition i showcased at a small gallery , this piece was reframed after the exhibit and sold right away, to a collector in Canada , .... when i was painting this i enjoyed how the watercolour did its own thing with the background , the painting is rich in greens and blues and has very little detail at all ..... had fun doing this piece ...hope you have fun viewing it ....
